Snowpiercer Film Review By keiran nixon

A experiment to combat global warming causes an ice age that nearly wipes out mankind on earth. 17 years later the survivors are residents of the Snowpeircer a large train that is powered by a aperpetual-motion engine, that travels on a track spinning the globe. the film surrounds the fight and struggle of the leader of  group of lower classed people in the deprived end of the train (Chris Evans). These people suffer from being fed the diet of protein in blocks which is created from insects and are seperated from their parents and parents separated from their children so that the children can manually operate the train engine and the people and are subjected to limb amputation and live in completely horrible conditions in the train, When these people first moved onto the train it was 1000 people in a small carriage with no food where the people where forced to eat each other in order to survive. Chris Evans character Curtis has the aim in the story to start a rebellion to get to the front of the train and fight against the upper-class people of the train and confront the creator and leader of the train Wilford. This film follows the peoples journey to the front of the train which shows the huge gap between the living conditions of the rich and the poor on the train and will have major fight scenes along with excellent pacing to help show good plot devices and revelations which helps to build major character development.
